Visual Arts

Throughout my career I've been able to teach visual arts to hundreds of students and put on numerous interactive art exhibitions, which displayed thousands of pieces of student work. I have always used art as a form of personal self-expression and after becoming an educator, I quickly discovered that I was passionate about providing high-quality art education to K-8 students. I loved having the opportunity to provide a space for kids to create work that is meaningful, and that they could be proud of. Gallery walks, deep dives, and meaningful discussion were staples in my classroom and gave students the opportunity to evaluate (and show off) their work and the work of their peers.
